These instructional demonstrations serve as an active, real-time extension of the studio dialogue, pulling back the curtain on the physical mechanics and structural thinking required for advanced representational practice. Rather than presenting a rigid style for students to replicate, these live exercises break down complex anatomical landmarks, planar transition, and value compression, into clear applicable steps. by externalizing my own studio research and problem-solving processes, I equip students with a robust formal vocabulary, giving them the technical agency and confidence necessary to articulate their own independent conceptual ideas on the canvas.
