Figure Drawing & Observational Practice
These undergraduate drawings explore gesture, structural anatomy, and the translation of three-dimensional form onto a two-dimensional surface. Coursework progresses from rapid studies of line and volume to sustained drawings that examine skeletal landmarks, musculature, and planar transitions. My teaching emphasizes careful observation and analytical decision-making, helping students use drawing as a foundation for independent creative research.
