Figure Drawing & Observational Practice:
This selection demonstrates undergraduate development in structural anatomy, planar transitions, and the translation of complex three-dimensional forms onto a two-dimensional surface. The coursework guides students from rapid gestural line=and=volume analyses to deeply observed, long=pose life drawings that emphasize skeletal landmarks and musculature. My primary pedagogical objective is to equip students with a high level of visual and spatial literacy, transforming observational drawing from a process of passive replication into an active, analytical tool for self-directed creative research.
